Hello, I have been trying to figured this out for the pass two days.. but I don't think my head can take any more hit on the wall.

So here is my deal. I am running FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE, and install the lasted port verion. of DTC 0.30.1 Not sure if it's named or if it's because damn vhosts.conf uses <Virtualhost IP> instead of domains (never had any luck with this type of setup) but once i go to try and add a new account and domain everything go KA-FUCK-O, apache connection drops and can't connect.

any idea would be helpful

Ok, So this what I am dealing with and have for a setup.

I have only 2 IPs for now x.x.x.106 (ns1.domain.com) and x.x.x.107(ns2.domain.com)
running on FreeBSD 8.0, with DTC 30.1. If I do dtc-install for everything on x.x.x.107 everything works fine and dandy until the first cron. Only thing I can see if that DTC makes ns1 and ns2 @ in my zonefiles. Other than that, I don't know what it is, as there is no logs for what is going on.. apache is set to debug log mode, everything looks like it is working fine. Is there a way to alter the zonefiles to remove "@" for the NS records, as you can't login to dtc.domain.com/dtcadmin, and cron overwrites everything manualy edited.

Maybe later version you could have a advancemode for zone editing, where it might not be automated.

Well, remove the ns1 / ns2 subdomains if you don't want them... I'm quite sure that everything you want to do is there, but it's just that you don't know yet how it's going to be done. DTC is made to be convenient, which sometimes makes it not easy. So like, the subdomain tab is the only place to make DNS entries, and it controls as well apache vhosts. That might at the first look seem wacko, but it helps not having to add a subdomain TWICE (once in the DNS, once for Apache), so at the end, it's the most convenient way.

Get in touch over MSN/Yahoo/ICQ/etc. if you need a little bit more help.

Why is that creating any issue?
