The fact that it's advertizing for your website is not the problem. The problem is that there is no reason to spread the information across multiple web sites. No reasons either to cut / past from our wiki.
Also, I already saw some wrong things, and you are the only one that can edit. Things WILL get oudated soon in your blog, while the wiki will always get updated at some point.
Why, instead, don't you edit our wiki to add the details that you thought were missing?
