Hi to all new reader/poster here. Thanks for joining the growing DTC user comunity.

This is obvious, but PLEASE HAVE A LOOK IN THE FAQ BEFORE POSTING

There are no particular restriction in this forum, I want this place to be a freetalk area. The only restrictions are for having a good ambiance here. Nothing is forbidden exept that you shouldn't:
advertise for anything (including hosting)
behave badly with other posters or anyone else
talk about illegal or not related stuff (porn, warez, etc... is totaly forbiden)

It's the right place here to talk about anything related to hosting technologies (software and hardware), and/or to compare DTC with other systems.

When you are requesting for DTC support, please do NOT forget to tell:
- Unix type (Debian, FreeBSD, OS X...)
- Distribution flavor (Woody, 5.3, Jaguar...)
- DTC version you used to install

Do not forget that you can switch VERBOSE_INSTALL=yes in the install script in /var/lib/dpkg/dtc.postinst (if Debian) or in dtc-install.sh (for others).

Please remember that even is the panel is ready for production, and have been fully tested for few years now, the installer is still not perfect and sometimes not so easy to use (depending on the configuration), and that's why DTC is not in version 1.0 yet.

I want a click and go installer, and that's a hard thing to do. It is very dificult because it implies a lot of daemons to configure, many types of Unix and distribution flavors with different paths, complicated database setups and upgrades, and the task have to be done all, in order. It's not as you could think at first (simply look at the size of the install script, which has thousands of lines, and you will understand what I'm talking about...).

Giving your feedback helps A LOT on improving the installer for the version 1.0. Please give as many details possible.
