hi,
I have a worry when a customer opens an account.
It receives a mail and in %%%DTC_LOGIN_INFO%%%
the address of the admin is https://dtc.ksxxxxx.kimsufi.com/dtc/ instead https://www.solutions-joomla.com/dtc/

Where is a probleme ?

i change in administrator DTC / generale configuration/ IP addresses and network / Full hostname of DTC admin panel:

NON, merci de ne PAS faire un Nième tutoriel en dehors de notre wiki, qui sera vite totalement obsolète, et pas mis a jour, avec pour nous aucun moyen de le mettre a jour. Si vous pensez que la page de la wiki n'est pas suffisante, je vous invite a l'éditer, ou à en commencer une nouvelle. Il n'y a AUCUNE raison d'écrire un tutoriel ailleurs. Merci !

Absolument d'accord !

Les tutos qui se pompent les uns sur les autres, pour y include de temps à autre une grosse boulette, c'est vraiment débile.

Je ne comprends par exemple pas pourquoi (enfin si, pour l'audience) il y a la copie du tuto de dedibox-news (qui est une version un peu ameliorée de celle de Thomas) sur alsacreations.

Que ce soit un guru es-sécurité et es-Debian qui rédige un truc qui sécurise correctement DTC, ok. Sinon, aucun intéret.

[edit french] : voila je voudrais tout simplement modifier les informations transmise par %%%DTC_LOGIN_INFO%%% en fait l'adresse envoyé pour se connecté est pas bonne. je voudrais la modifier ou modifier carrément le mail envoyé au client. Sinon comment récupérer le login et pass ( sans y placer adresse de l'admin) Merci

The author is flying/dreaming... The packages in SID/Lenny are the exact copy of what is in our repository as I'm also the maintainer. How did he found/wrote that?

Also, this is a FORUM, meaning that this will stay FOREVER, when it needs to be UPDATED. The author should have write in our wiki and NOT in a silly forum that even him doesn't control and can update. Many things are already outdated. This is way I wrote so often here: DO NOT WRITE ANY TUTORIAL OUTSIDE OUR WIKI.

I know this is coming from the intention to help. But this is a big big big mistake to write a tuto like this one. Also, what is so different in running a dedibox compared to another server? It's still a Debian, it makes no sense to me...

Do not post as well any link to them, as this will higher the page rank of that page.

Do you have brain injuries that makes you loose memory ? I fcken told you that on msn too, mailgraph wasnt (may still isnt) in lenny nor sid repo....

This is a wiki. If your feel that the debian express setup is outdated, you are free to edit the page and make the corrections.

First, mailgraph is NOT mandatory, DTC will work without it. Second, mailgraph has ALWAYS been part of SID & Lenny since etch, as far as I know.

First, this was not aiming at you saying that you were *BAD*, it was just a proof that these kind of document, OUTSIDE of the official wiki, are very bad ideas. These are not opinion, these are FACTS: your howto AS WELL got outdated and wrong, and I have no way to correct it myself. Don't take it as a direct insult, take it the good way, and next time, try to improve the wiki on http://dtcsupport.gplhost.com/ rather than doing this anywhere else.

You still got it wrong, it's ouside the wiki, so it's still a bad place to have a tutorial. What's wrong with the tuto on our wiki? You hate the fact that it's not you who wrote it? That it's not on your web site? I don't get it...

Is there a french wiki for dtc ? atm, i failed finding it. Plus, it was a way to post a tuto on a forum i like, that made some people discovering DTC, even if it's a little outdated, you can stil have it working quite good. Second plus, it's now updated.

Well, being hungry and being mean is somehow related (for me, at least). There's a lot of ways to say things, especially when you're managin' a project like dtc.

No, Has I remember it, I told you apache2 on lenny was using /etc/apache2/envvars, and told you what was wrong with it, you thanked me, telling me there were not enough people testing dtc with lenny... Well, it gives me the right to update my tuto and write the quick dirty fix as a tip, while waiting for the fix to come out it's now removed from my tuto.

It might have been a repo issue at the moment, but mailgraph wasn't on lenny's repo, had to install it from the etch repo, plus, dtc asked for mailgraph as a dependency...

NO, I'M NOT GETTING IT WRONG, my tuto is up-to-date, and I don't see why I should post it on dtc's wiki, whereas the goal of the said tuto is to aim at informing/helping people of a community (cf. dedibox users)
I wasn't informed a tuto already existed on your wiki since this "flame posts", when I discovered dtc, i could only find the tuto I used to translate in french, wrong or not, it helped me getting started with dtc.
Dedibox-news isn't my site/forum/blabla, nothin related, and I'm not caring about who wrote the tuto, as I left the link to the original tuto I translated.

Well, if it was "really not important", I don't see why your post was so aggressive, if you had wrote the post in a softer manner, I wouldn't have been that dumb, I don't like people steppin on my toes, however, I apologize for the posts.
